The Bahamas settlement of Hope Town is located in The Abaco Islands on the island of Elbow Cay, situated between a beautiful beach and protecting harbor. Hope Town was founded in 1785 by The Malone’s (Wyannie Malone to be specific). Today one will find a museum dedicated to the Malone’s in Hope Town.
Abaco Real Estate is always a hot topic for local purchasers and foreign investors. There is no place in the world like Abaco, and to find a settlement dating back to the 16th century that is still around with the same old style is almost unheard of.
Motorists on the island of Elbow Cay are rare since most of the population drive Golf Carts to and fro. In keeping with the Island lifestyle, Hope Town has a strict ban on all vehicles; your choice of travel is either by bicycle or foot.
