New Ferry to The Bahamas
Balearia has announced the launch of a new ferry serving the Fort Lauderdale-Grand Bahama route.
The new ship with larger capacity has replaced the existing fast ferry on the US-Bahamas route.
It’s called the Jaume 1, and it launched this week with some 500 passengers.
The ship has an overall capacity of 600, increasing daily capacity by two hundred.
This new ferry service will introduce more US citizens to Bahamas real estate in Freeport/Grand Bahama.
